Elevate Residential Finalists Again- REIQ ‘Contribution to the Community’ Category
For the second year running, Elevate Residential, is proud to once again be a finalist at the REIQ Awards for their outstanding achievement in the ‘Contribution to Community’ category.
Shining a spotlight on the Queensland real estate industry’s top performers, the REIQ Awards for Excellence are held each year by the Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) in recognition of outstanding achievement in Queensland real estate.
Elevate Residential’s Principal Licensee Chris Meadmore said Elevate Residential provided 100% of its profits to Brisbane’s leading affordable housing provider, BHC, to support its residents to overcome significant barriers and hardships.
Mr Meadmore said the more properties Elevate Residential sold or managed through its dedicated property management service, the more people in social and affordable housing across Brisbane could be helped.
“Elevate is just like any other real estate agency, however, what makes us different is that we are driven by a higher purpose – to make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing housing stress and those at risk of homelessness,” Mr Meadmore said.
“By working with BHC, we’ve seen first-hand how the current housing crisis can impact the lives of those on low incomes.
“To date, we’ve committed $300,000 to BHC’s Impact Fund, and in the coming four years, we’re aiming to grow this to over $1 million.
“The work we do is incredibly humbling. We get to see first-hand how the little things make a big difference to families doing it tough.
“Being recognised by REIQ and our industry peers is an incredible accomplishment and motivates us even further.”
Elevate Residential was recognised for its contribution to the community through a variety of initiatives including education, employment, and seniors’ grants, a mental health art therapy program and charitable support.
